Group Trips: travel together without the spreadsheet
Group Trips is where a circle plans together — different cities, different arrival times, one shared plan. This page describes the feature publicly; real groups and their conversations stay private.
Multi-origin arrivals on one shared timeline
Six people leaving from four cities is the hardest part of any group trip. The shared timeline overlays every traveller so arrival day stops being guesswork.
A Trip Lead, not a committee
One person can carry the logistics with limited admin rights, while everyone keeps control of their own bookings.
Shared costs, settled quietly
Somebody covers the villa, somebody else the wine. A shared ledger keeps that fair without anyone doing arithmetic at dinner.
Frequently asked questions
- How do AVARA Group Trips work?
- You create a group, invite travellers by link or email, and everyone’s routes, stays and activities appear on one shared timeline. A Trip Lead can coordinate bookings while each traveller confirms their own segments.
- Can one person book for the whole group?
- Yes. A member can arrange bookings on behalf of others, but flights and hotels always require each traveller to confirm their own segment — nothing is booked over someone’s head.
- How are group expenses split?
- Any member logs a shared expense with an optional receipt and chooses who it splits between. AVARA converts currencies, tracks balances and shows what remains unsettled.
- Are group trips visible to search engines?
- No. Group trip pages are signed-in only and blocked in robots.txt. Only this public preview is indexable.
