What is the best time of year to visit Tokyo?
Late March to mid-April for cherry blossoms, October to early December for cool clear autumn colours. Summer (June–August) is oppressively humid; the June rainy season is worse. Winter is cold but rarely snowy in central Tokyo and can be a value window outside New Year.
